Education at the Academy | Florence Project
Founding partner, curriculum manager, and leading lecturer
in the Bezalel Design and Innovation Lab at Soroka Hospital.
In the largest medical center in southern Israel, we established a live lab for the research and development of projects that aim to improve the human experience within the hospital. The process is based on a human-centered design that takes into account different perspectives of a variety of stakeholders within the system such as patients, family members, and medical staff.
Students accepted to the program from all design departments in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs at Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design and studied 4 days a week, 8 hours a day - In this way, we create with Soroka a deep relationship that leans on professionalism and trust so the cooperation is strong,er and can lead into better solutions
The satisfaction index increased by 48%!

Internship program on behalf of Bezalel in collaboration with Elka - JDC Israel
Improperly functioning Internet infrastructures, cultural barriers, and a special community fabric have led to an app that combines the physical and digital worlds.
The project was transferred to EY for further development and directed by: Sarah Oslander, Roee Bigger

BEAT | Your mental health mirror
BEAT is a Biofeedback device that reflects mental state,and helps to improve it, by listening to heartbeats in real time.
In-depth research has dealt with the worlds of design, technology and science and has included all stages of research and development - from literary review, Surveys, interviews with experts and stakeholders, observations, working prototype (Device and App), usability testing and up to business plan.

IDEATION WORKSHOP
An ideation workshop is an important step in developing and improving a product, service or strategy in an experiential, fun and very effective way which deepens the empathic connection between the different stakeholders in the company.
The workshop is up to 4 hours and includes a preliminary process with the company for the purpose of defining the main challenge, understanding the barriers and opportunities. We will also assemble together a multidisciplinary team to get different perspectives and diverse ideas. (suitable for 5-15 people)
The final product of the workshop is a pool of original ideas that can be further developed through field testing by prototypes, interviews, observations, etc.
CREATIVE THINKING WORKSHOP
A creative thinking workshop is based on a design thinking approach and is designed for formation days in order to provide the company's employees with theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of innovation and technology in a fun and experiential way.
The workshop lasts 6 hours and includes a lecture, creative thinking exercises and a challenge that lead to teamwork, mental flexibility, technical abilities, fine storytelling and empathy.
(suitable for 8-20 people)
